Fortnite Drake's Map has been dispersed throughout the island as part of the current Uncharted series crossover cooperation, linking up with the game's most recent installments and the Uncharted movie.

This isn't the first time we've been able to dig for buried wealth in Fortnite, but given that the prior digs occurred approximately three years ago, you'd be forgiven for not knowing about it.

To find treasure using Drake's Map in Fortnite, you must first obtain the navigation paper, which you must then use to locate the hidden loot, so here's all you need to know.

Locations on the Drake's Map in Fortnite

Fortnite Drake's Map has already been added to the general treasure pool, which implies you won't be able to find it in any specific area in every match.

Instead, continue looking through chests, supply drops, and floor loot until you find one of the unique map items.

The Fortnite Drake's Map takes up one of your inventory spaces, so if you're already full, you'll have to give up an item or weapon to get it.

How to use Drake's Map in Fortnite to find treasure

Once you've located and collected the Fortnite Drake's Map, you may use it to project a dotted line onto the island, leading to a spot where you can retrieve treasure - if you've used hidden treasure maps or vault keycards in the game before, you'll be familiar with this feature.

A bright beam of light will also shine up from the site, allowing you to spot it from afar.

By equipping the map item, you can follow the directions until you hit your target, when you should see a glowing marker on the ground with a giant X on it.

To harvest treasure using Drake's Map in Fortnite, all you have to do now is repeatedly hit the marked location to unearth a sparkling chest, then examine it for Uncharted riches - aka a variety of expensive goods!
