Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will supposedly be released in 2023
Following the report's release, known leaker Tom Henderson provided a list of what he claims will be the next three Call of Duty titles, including Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 in 2022, an unnamed Call of Duty game from Treyarch following year, and "Warzone 2" in 2023.
It's best to take this information with a grain of salt until Activision confirms it, but if it turns out to be true, Warzone 2 might be the final Call of Duty game to be released on the PlayStation platform.
Even if a Warzone sequel is made accessible on PlayStation, it's unknown how long or to what degree Activision will continue to support updates on PlayStation following the game's first release, given Microsoft's ambitions for exclusivity with its first-party companies.
